30 Day Blog Challenge - The three T's

Olá!

Here we are more than halfway down the 30 Day Blog Challenge! Hurray! :)

Today we'll reflect on the three T's: tribe, team and trust.

Day 15: How are you building your email list?

I love connecting and sharing.

That’s why I started the blog in the first place and that’s the basis of my “email list”.

I love keeping in touch. Old friends, people I meet on the road, students, colleagues, family and people who stumbled upon my blog or book. I like everyone to know what I’m up to and I love hearing from them too.

I have recently started this new adventure I call a blog and started connecting more on social media, blogs and forums. A few hundreds of awesome people follow my Fan Page and Twitter and a couple have subscribed to my email list – if you haven’t, here is your cue to do it ;)

Positivity is what I want to share with my people. Blog posts, videos, pictures, news.

If I see or learn something new, I share it. Someone might need to know about that too.

If I feel like sending a hug and a nice word, I do. Someone might need just that to brighten up and feel better.

If someone asks me a relevant question, I share it because more people might have the same problem/doubt.

So how am I building my email list? Same way as I make friends: being myself, being honest, being nice and reaching out! Being open to listen and to give them what I know.

Day 16: How will you build a team around your vision and work smart instead of hard?

When the time comes that I need a team to help me out with my work, I’d like people who are aligned with what I believe and how I function.

I would like positive, creative people who love sharing their gifts with the world and doing their best in everything.

We would work together and efficiently in advancing our careers and we would add value to each others’ lives.

Each one will play their part in creating the big picture.

We’ll base our relationship in respect and clear communication.

That’s a perfect team for me.

Day 17: What three steps can you take to build trust and credibility online for you, your brand and your business?

So how do you build trust and credibility online?

Same way as we do it offline:

Being honest and real. Trust goes down the drain when your relationship is based on a show, flattery, lies and gossip.

Being reliable. Be there for your friends. Do what you say you will. Never promise what you can’t deliver. Give people a bit more than they expect.

Being efficient. Do your work the best you can. Help people with everything you’ve got. Be on time.

Being nice and respectful. The old story of treating others the way we want them to treat us but I’ll go beyond that: if you want respect, be more respectful; if you want love, be more loving; if you want support, be more supportive.

In our personal and professional lives, trust is everything.

You won’t have a good family life, friendship or romantic relationship if you’re coming from a negative place such as mistrust. It will sure lead to other negative feelings and behaviors.

You won’t get clients, students or costumers if they don’t know you, what you’re all about and if you’re consistent. You should always show up, be your best self and make your people fall in love with you and what you have to offer them!

Being honest and real will do wonders for all of us. So many people try to be something they are not......that will catch up to you. Great post! On to Day 18!

Excellent and simple tips you have here. They're effective, too, if they're implemented consistently.

That's true. Tips are only effective once they are actually implemented.
